Mini Barrel Cactus Workshop with John Flores
Join ceramicist John Flores, whose art practice is rooted in the landscapes and native flora of the high desert. His work transforms desert plants into fantastical ceramic forms, sometimes humanized with sculpted faces and toes, bringing attention to the complexity and character of the desert environment.
In this hands-on workshop, participants will explore John’s process and techniques. Using methods like pinching, layering, and blending, you’ll sculpt your own mini barrel cactus to take home.
SATURDAY, JULY 26, 10:00 AM
