Q+Art

Launched in 2023, Q+ Art champions the often-underrecognized contributions of LGBTQ+ artists. It is the only program of its kind housed within a general art museum.

Rooted in Palm Springs’ vibrant LGBTQ+ history, Q+ Art advances the recognition of queer artists and art histories through exhibitions, programs, collection building, community engagement, and education.

BECOME A SUPPORTER

“Q+ Art amplifies voices that have long been marginalized, remedies conventional narratives of art history, and celebrates the rich diversity of queer expression. Now more than ever, we need Q+ Art to challenge and inspire us.”

— David Evans Frantz, Curator-at-Large, Q+ Art
