Curated Places is Palm Springs Art Museum’s new approach to events, centered on intimate, thoughtfully designed gatherings that bring people together to experience art, architecture, and design through place and perspective.
We focus on meaningful experiences in distinctive settings where conversation, perspective, and connection take center stage.
Through a series of highly curated programs, guests are invited to engage more personally in the creative life of the Coachella Valley while exploring the ideas, spaces, and cultural influences that shape the region.
Experiences
Three ways to gather.
Inside the Home
Hosted within architecturally significant residences across the Coachella Valley, Inside the Home offers guests rare access to private spaces that reflect the region’s rich legacy of architecture. Each gathering features a conversation with the homeowner and Executive Director Christine Vendredi, paired with an elevated cocktail experience designed to encourage dialogue, perspective, and connection.
Attendance is intentionally limited to create a more intimate and engaging experience.
The Collector’s Table
The Collector’s Table centers on a homeowner-led exploration of their private collection, or a specific work, and the personal stories behind living with art. Each experience pairs this deeper conversation with an elevated dining component, creating an environment that encourages dialogue, perspective, and connection.
When possible, programs may also include participation from artists, designers, or in-conversation moments with the homeowner and Christine Vendredi.
Designed to bring people together through shared experience and conversation, these gatherings offer guests a more personal connection to art, collecting, and the creative community surrounding Palm Springs Art Museum.
The Closing
The Closing brings together art, culture, and community in a singular experience that marks the culmination of the season. Designed as a distinctive and unexpected gathering, the program celebrates the creative energy of the Coachella Valley through experiences connected to our core disciplines of art, architecture, and design.
Whether hosted in an unconventional setting or shaped around a unique cultural moment, each edition of The Closing is intended to create a memorable shared experience centered on conversation, connection, and celebration.
