New Movements in Contemporary Glass

This event is part of Mondays @ the Museum lecture series.

Speakers:

Michael Endo

Artist/Curator

Kelly Akashi

Artist, Brave New Worlds

Continuing in the traditions of the modern Studio Glass movement, artists Michael Endo and Kelly Akashi employ deep technical knowledge and raw experimentation as they survey the potentials of glass. Endo’s curatorial insight of contemporary, innovative processes, and Akashi’s use of ephemeral items like onions, hair, or candles, signify new movements within the medium.

15% off at Persimmon Bistro with Mondays @ the Museum tickets on program dates.

For member or series pricing, please call the Box Office at 760-325-4490
