Through conversations, site activations, and self-guided tours, explore how collaboration can lead to creative solutions for change.

Explore the Desert X Family Guide alongside a family workbook about Phillip K. Smith III, Desert X 2017 alumni artist whose mid-career survey exhibition, LIGHT + CHANGE, is on view at the museum.

Includes a performance by Shanti Lalita at 11:30 am.

In this fast-paced one-hour event, artists, organizers, and local leaders share the solutions they’ve created in response to problems around climate change, social justice, labor rights, sustainable food, and housing equity. Hosted by Lala Johnson, Public Programming and Special Events Coordinator at Palm Springs Art Museum, and Edwin Ramoran, Curatorial Fellow at Desert X.
