For this Black History Month Nights at the Museum we are moving to the Architecture and Design Center for a Mixer and Spotlight on fashion designer Virgil Abloh.

Joann McGrath Executive Director and Chief Curator Christine Vendredi will offer remarks on Abloh and his worldwide contributions to fashion and art inside our newest exhibition, Fashioning Architecture: What the Runway Borrows from Architecture.

Following the discussion, we invite you to continue the evening at a celebratory mixer featuring a live set by Bae Bae. Enjoy the music, join the dance floor, or relax and take in the atmosphere as Bae Bae delivers a dynamic performance. Food and beverages will be available for purchase throughout the evening.

About Virgil Abloh:

As the founder of Off-White and the first Black artistic director of menswear at Louis Vuitton, Abloh bridged streetwear, luxury, art, and architecture, leaving a lasting impact on global culture and creative expression.

About BAE BAE:

BAE BAE, whose work is driven by her commitment to create liberating events for diverse communities of femmes and queer black and brown folks, will offer a live performance. Food and drink will be available for purchase.
