Join us for a rare opportunity to visit the former home of Bob & Dolores Hope —a masterpiece designed by architect, John Lautner. This recently restored gem offers unparalleled views of Palm Springs, and beyond.

Join other architectural enthusiasts and experts in the field of architecture and design at the magic hours leading up to sunset. Enjoy delectable culinary delights, drinks and wonderful conversation under the 60’ diameter oculus.

Lautner’s goal was to create a volcano-like form that would blend into the surrounding landscape and also would satisfy the Hope’s request to entertain large groups of people for the many charitable causes they championed.

Beginning in 2016, the current owner, Ron Burkle has been committed to restoring the magic back into the property. Guided by the original project architect and Lautner’s long time chief architect, Helena Arahuete —in collaboration with scores of skilled artisans, the Hope house now stands as a modern masterpiece. The timeless design using natural materials epitomizes the perfect blend of form and function.

By supporting the museum’s A+D (Architecture & Design) program, you help champion the preservation of architectural heritage and inspire creativity and innovation in the field of design. Your contribution plays a vital role in educating the public about the importance of architectural preservation and encouraging the exploration of new ideas and concepts. It will ensure that future generations can continue to be inspired by iconic architecture like John Lautner’s Hope House.

Don’t miss this unique opportunity to experience this iconic piece of Palm Springs history.
