ABOUT THE DJ

BROWNSKINHAZEL

BROWNSKINHAZEL (they/them+ she/her) is a Mexican-American multidisciplinary artist, UC Berkeley graduate, and DJ from Los Angeles.

After debuting at the legendary queer party MUSTACHE MONDAYS and learning cultural production from organizer Nacho Nava, they launched YOU Los Angeles in 2019 to preserve the MUSTACHE community following Nava's passing.

Their experimental style blends Baile Funk, Vogue Beats, Techno, Reggaeton, and club music into a sound rooted in LA's underground. They've played Coachella, Papi Juice, Kelela's RAVEN, MOCA, ICA LA, NTS, and Palm Springs Art Museum.

ART INSTALLATION

Yulissa Mendoza

Photographer and multimedia artist Yulissa Mendoza creates immersive installations that invite reflection and connection. At Summer Moon, Yulissa will present an interactive installation inspired by release, renewal, and the final full moon of the summer. Created exclusively for the party, the installation will appear for one night only before fading away with the moon.

Cesar Omar Garcia brings the art of printmaking to life through hand-carved linocut designs transformed into unique temporary tattoos.
