Family+

Join us every third Sunday of the month for Family+, a fun and free event for everyone!

The museum is transformed into a creative hub where artists, makers, and musicians come together to offer a variety of exciting activities and workshops for kids, teens, and families+.

Workshops

1. ¡Que Madre! Media Collective will lead a drop-in workshop on storytelling. Learn how to develop your own personal story and how to share stories from your family and community.
2. Work with our museum educators and learn how to create and customize a journal notebook.

Activities

• Enjoy a holiday-themed children’s storytelling corner led by Esperanza Mendez, community leader and storyteller. 
• Have your family portraits taken at Parkside’s Polaroid booth. 
• Face painting by G’z Modern Creations
• Create custom holiday postcards that the museum will mail for you!
