These speakers reflect on bodies of work that celebrate design and pattern. Anna Katz organized MOCA’s With Pleasure: Pattern and Decoration in American Art 1972–1985. Trina Turk celebrates 25 years of creating print and pattern for fashion textiles. And artist Pat Lasch’s sculptural, acrylic-based dresses and decorative cakes are part of her impressive contemporary oeuvre.
