A Community Altar invites guests to write the name of a loved one or to bring a note and to leave it in the message box.

Palm Springs Art Museum annually celebrates Día de Los Muertos and is a proud member of the Coachella Valley Days of Los Muertos Collective, which partners with Sunnylands Center & Gardens, Run with Los Muertos, Raices Cultura, Cabot’s Pueblo Museum, Palm Springs Cemetery District, Children’s Discovery Museum of the Desert, and Coachella Valley History Museum.
Palm Springs Art Museum’s Education Program for elementary school children is generously supported by the Richard Brooke Foundation. Funding is also provided by the Helzel Family Foundation, Anderson Children’s Foundation, Palm Springs Unified School District, and US Bank.
