Palm Springs Chalk Art Festival Demonstration with Student Artists

Join us during a Free Thursday Night at the museum for a chalk art demonstration and activity in partnership with Palm Springs Chalk Art Festival!

This tenth edition of the annual festival, presented by the Palm Springs Sunup Rotary Club, will take place on Saturday and Sunday, March 19 and 20, from 7:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. in front of Palm Springs Art Museum on Museum Way.

Then on Thursday, March 24, First, Second, and Third Place high school winners will demonstrate their drawing process while you create your own drawing or coloring sheet using chalk pastels.

The festival brings together professional artists from across Southern California and students from the Palm Springs, Desert Sands, and Coachella Valley Unified School Districts, to compete for cash prizes and student honor awards.

Monies raised from this event are donated to the Palm Springs Sunup Rotary Foundation for Rotary student leadership programs, charitable organizations here in the Coachella Valley, and many other projects.
