Join us every third Sunday of the month for Family+, a fun and free event for everyone!

The museum is transformed into a creative hub where artists, makers, and musicians come together to offer a variety of exciting activities and workshops for kids, teens, and families+.

This month Family+ will take place in the Meyerman Sculpture Garden and will feature a workshop by visual artist Nicholas Megalis, a food pop-up by Little Livs, facepainting by G'z Modern Creations, and balloon creations by Ballon Boss.

Unleash Your Creativity: Confidence Building Through Drawing & Text Art with Nicholas Megalis

The workshop aims to build creative confidence by exploring text art, drawing, and color. Participants will engage in activities like collaborative drawing and creating their own text-based artworks, while also learning about typography, color theory, and various coloring techniques. Nicholas will provide tips for building creative confidence—emphasizing the importance of embracing mistakes. The workshop aims to foster a positive and supportive environment for artistic expression, and participants will be encouraged to continue exploring art beyond the session.
