Build a Wind Chime with Angel Prudencio
This workshop offers a hands-on experience in creating wind chimes. It invites individuals and families to design and assemble their own pieces. Participants will use pre-made stoneware clay elements, and will be guided through simple assembly and knotting techniques using sturdy string. The workshop provides an accessible opportunity for community members to engage in a creative activity and take home a functional, handmade object.
Hands-On Kite-Making with Stephanie Hernandez
In the hands-on kite-making workshop participants will learn to assemble all the parts of a kite from frame and sail to bridle and tail using simple tools and materials provided. You'll practice taping, tying, and attaching components, add your own decorations, and leave with a finished kite ready to fly. No experience necessary, perfect for kids and adults alike.
