Palm Springs Art Museum celebrates Día de Los Muertos with altars created by local students, a self-guided tour highlighting artists on view of Latinx heritage, and free activity kits available on a first-come, first-served basis during museum hours.
Program shirts are available from the gift shop starting in October and are limited in supply.

El Palm Springs Art Museum celebra el Día de los Muertos con altares creados por estudiantes locales, una visita autoguiada en la que se destacan los artistas de herencia Latina y material de actividades gratuitas disponibles por orden de llegada durante el horario del museo.

Palm Springs Art Museum annually celebrates Día de los Muertos and is a proud member of the Coachella Valley Days of los Muertos Collective, which partners with Sunnylands Center & Gardens, Run with Los Muertos, Raices Cultura, Cabot’s Pueblo Museum, Palm Springs Cemetery District, Children’s Discovery Museum of the Desert, and Coachella Valley History Museum.
Palm Springs Art Museum’s Education Program for elementary school children is generously supported by the Richard Brooke Foundation. Funding is also provided by the Helzel Family Foundation, Anderson Children’s Foundation, Palm Springs Unified School District, and US Bank.
