Join us for an exclusive garden party at one of the Coachella Valley’s most significant examples of Brutalist architecture. Designed in the early 1980s by esteemed architect Ted Grenzbach—celebrated for his work with luminaries such as Cher, Frank Sinatra, Dinah Shore, Gene Kelly, Herb Alpert, and Johnny Carson—this exceptional residence was originally commissioned by entrepreneur Gene Klein, former owner of the San Diego Chargers.

Recently acquired by Palm Springs Art Museum Board of Trustees Member Doug Moreland, the property has undergone a meticulous and thoughtful restoration of both its interiors and landscapes. This event offers a rare opportunity to experience the confluence of architectural heritage, cultural history, and desert beauty in a setting that exemplifies Brutalism reimagined for contemporary life.

Not only will guests be able to enjoy a piece of architectural history, Palm Springs Art Museum’s newly appointed JoAnn McGrath Executive Director, Christine Vendredi, will be joining and speaking on her vision for the museum’s future. Drawing on her distinguished international background in art, architecture, and design, Vendredi will share how she plans to lead the museum into a bold new era of innovation, excellence, and community connection.
