Downloading FAQ

Palm Springs Art Museum is excited to introduce digital membership cards as a benefit of your membership! We hope these answers to common questions help you understand your new digital card.

  • Your membership card will always be conveniently saved in the Wallet App on your phone
  • Keeps you connected and allows the museum to send you information more efficiently
  • Increases engagement with member-only opportunities and renewal reminders
  • Helps the museum reduce costs and save time so more of your membership dollars can support the museum’s collections and programming
  • Going digital helps the environment and takes the museum to the forefront of engagement

Digital membership cards will be sent to the primary email address of every active member. You will need to open this email on your mobile device and follow the instructions to download the card. The card will automatically be stored in your phone’s wallet app.

Access the email we sent you from your smartphone and click the "Download" button, then click "Add to Wallet" and "Add."

The card will automatically go to your iPhone’s Apple Wallet and can be accessed at any time.

Android users need to download Wallet Passes from Google Play.

After you have the app, access the email we sent you from your smartphone and click “Download”. The card will automatically go to your Wallet Passes app, where it can be accessed at any time.

The email you receive will provide step-by-step instructions and a link to download the recommended wallet application to store your digital membership card and similar types of digital cards and passes.

For Dual level and above, each member will receive a unique digital membership card via email. If a membership with two members has only one email address on record, then both digital membership cards will be sent to this email address. Members can then forward the email or use the share feature of the wallet app to ensure that their spouse receives their digital membership card.

Share feature:

Navigate to the back of the card (click the small “i” on the front) and use the “Share Pass” button to send the card to your secondary member. For iPhone users, you will find the share icon at the top right of the Digital Card.

If you have an iPhone, the card will automatically download to Apple Wallet. Check the app for your new card (scroll through any cards that are already there--it may be hiding!).

If you have an Android, you’ll need to download Wallet Passes from the Play Store prior to downloading the card.

Yes! The digital card will automatically update when your membership information changes. For example, your expiration date and membership level will automatically update the next time you renew or upgrade your membership. This means that you only have to download the card once!

Digital membership cards display NARM and ROAM banners and list participation in the reciprocal programs as a benefit of the membership level.

Simply show your digital membership card at participating museums to receive free or reduced admission!

Yes! Please contact us at mhinkle@psmuseum.org, and we can resend the email for you to download and enjoy your digital membership card. You may also want to check the Junk, Spam, and Unwanted folders of your email.

Yes! Please contact us at mhinkle@psmuseum.org to update your information. Please also review and update your contact information as you renew your membership.
