Tour: A taste of DESERT X and UNSETTLED

Something exciting is on the horizon in February...

Palm Springs Art Museum presents a luxury day-long tour of two exciting art experiences showcasing contemporary art of the Coachella Valley and the Greater West.

You will not want to miss out on this captivating and immersive curated art experience.The tour is designed as an exclusive opportunity to engage with fellow art enthusiasts, museum curators and educators, Mara Gladstone and Melissa Hempel, to experience various Desert X sites and the Unsettled exhibition off the wall and in context.


Desert X
The biennial international contemporary art exhibition that activates California’s desert landscape through site-specific installations by renowned artists.


Unsettled @ Palm Springs Art Museum
A provocative exhibition that explores the vast frontiers, natural resources, Indigenous peoples, and the inevitable conflicts of the Greater West, featuring Ed Ruscha, Phillip K. Smith III, Andrea Zittel, Mark Bradford, Emily Carr, Georgia O’Keefe, and many more.


Plus, a mimosa continental breakfast and a lunch at Spencer’s!

    Bus pick-up at Palm Springs Art Museum in Palm Desert

  • 8:30 a.m.

    Mimosa continental breakfast by Westwood Catering, and a tour of Unsettled led by museum curator Mara Gladstone and educator Melissa Hempel at Palm Springs Art Museum

  • 9:15 a.m.

    Depart Palm Springs for select Desert X sites

  • 12:00 p.m.

    Gourmet lunch

  • 1:30-3:00 p.m.

    Continued Desert X site tours

  •  Tickets: $350 (per person)
  • Tour limited to first 50 people.



  • Please remember to dress comfortably, be mindful of the weather, and wear walking shoes.
