Artist-in-Residence

The Pop-Up Studio program brings together different fields of creative knowledge and invites artists and makers to be in residence at the Palm Springs Art Museum. It offers an opportunity for the public to work directly with artists across disciplines and to understand their inspiration and creative process.

Open Studio with Ryan Campbell will recreate a version of the artist’s RMC1 Studio in Palm Springs Art Museum. Through visits to the museum, guests and members are invited to step into the artist’s workspace.

Scheffer/Scheffler Education Space

February 2020

Throughout the month of February, the museum’s Scheffer/Scheffler Education Space will feature a Reading Room where visitors can learn about contemporary and influential African American artists, with a focus on those who are or have been on view at the museum.
