TeenStudio Projects is a two-week summer art program created especially for teens ages 13-19. A variety of workshops, presented by visiting artists, encourages personal connections to art by providing teens with access to the museum, artwork, and contemporary artists. In addition, the program provides an opportunity for teens to meet other creative and like-minded individuals.

FACA (Fine Arts Creativity Awards)

Welcome to the 19th annual Fine Arts Creativity Awards and Scholarship Program Exhibition. This year, ten Coachella Valley high schools and College of the Desert submitted almost 300 works in various media including painting, sculpture, drawing, and photography to be considered. These entries were juried by museum professionals and local artists Chari Godakanda, focusing on photography, and Elliott Newton, focusing on ceramics. Jurors considered creative interpretation of the theme, technical ability, originality, and imaginative communication of ideas and emotions when making their selections.
