GET MESSY WITH ART PARTY '08
Art Party '08 is a day of casual creativity for the desert's busy professionals and young adults. At Art Party '08, hundreds of local residents can "Mingle, make art and get messy" as they enjoy a wide variety of FREE museum art classes and hands-on workshops led by the valley's best instructors and working artists. This fun event is completely free to the public and geared to all age levels.
During art party, you will be able to:
- Enjoy painting and sculpture workshops
- Drop in to one of our galleries for an art lesson
- Watch local ceramicists, printmakers, graffiti artists and animators show off their craft
- Meet local artists and others who love art and art-making
The museum will come alive with DJ Pepe spinning tunes for the crowd in the atrium, salsa and swing lessons on the main level, a hip hop dance demonstration by students from Indio High School, and a relaxing area in the sculpture gardens to enjoy refreshments from Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf and Ben & Jerry's.
