Two little words … “I do” … and suddenly your whole world changes. Don't miss this evening of new short plays conceived by Brian Shnipper and written by an A-list lineup of writers with 2 Pulitzer Prizes, 4 Obies, 1 Emmy® and 3 Tony® nominations, including Mo Gaffney, Jordan Harrison, Moises Kaufman, Neil LaBute, Wendy MacLeod, Jose Rivera, Paul Rudnick and Doug Wright. Be there as they offer their unique take on the moments before, during and after "I do." Witty, warm and occasionally wacky, these plays are vows to the blessings of equality, the universal challenges of relationships and the often-hilarious power of love.

Standing on Ceremony, The Gay Marriage Plays returns to the Annenberg Theatre at the Palm Springs Art Museum for two performances only on Friday, November 1 and Saturday, November 2, 2013 at 8:00 PM.  The production has received eight Desert Theatre League nominations, including Best Production, Director and all six Performers. The cast features well-known local celebrities including Francesca Amari, Mona Caywood, Jerome Elliott, Charles Herrera, Robert Julian and Jeanette Knight.  The plays are under the direction of local producer, Keith Coleman and presented in association with Greater Palm Springs Pride, an official event as part of the annual Palm Springs Pride Weekend.
