Coachella Valley Symphony presents: The B's Knees
Palm Springs Art MuseumJoin the Coachella Valley Symphony as we celebrate the music of Bach, Berlin, Beethoven and more. The fabulous Beethoven Piano Concerto #4 will be performed by world renowned pianist, Kanae Matsumoto.
Ms. Matsumoto is active as a soloist and chamber musician. In recent years she has been invited to perform in such festivals as the Los Angeles Philharmonic Chamber Music Society at Walt Disney Hall and the Chautauqua Music Festival in New York. She is a member of the piano faculty at the University of California, Los Angeles.

The Palm Springs Art Museum has two locations in the Coachella Valley: The flagship building is located in downtown Palm Springs and features compelling art exhibitions and a vast permanent collection, all on view in 150,000 square feet, architecturally significant building. The Palm Springs Art Museum in Palm Desert is an 8,400 square foot, Silver LEED-certified building named The Galen that presents changing exhibitions and collections. It is surrounded by the four-acre Faye Sarkowsky Sculpture Garden that features more than 10 significant sculpture works. Both museum locations are open to the public with free admission every Thursday evening from 4-8 p.m. and the Palm Springs facility offers free admission and programming the second Sunday of each month.
