PICASSO AND MASTER IMPRESSIONISTS
Palm Springs Art Museum
Again this summer, the Palm Springs Art Museum is privileged to present a selection of outstanding Impressionist paintings that offer visitors a glimpse of the brilliant artistic experimentation that roiled the established art world from the late 1880s through the turn of the 20th century. The outstanding Impressionist paintings are accompanied by many fine Pablo Picasso works on paper and ceramics drawn from the museum’s permanent collection as well as drawings on loan from the collection of Rose Mihata. Picasso works on view date from 1905, during his earliest years in Paris, through his mature work of the 1960s.
This exhibition is organized by the Palm Springs Art Museum.
