Day of the Dead / Día de los muertos is a traditional Mexican holiday that galvanizes individuals, family, friends and community to celebrate life by reflecting on history and culture through the act of honoring those that have passed away. You and your family are invited to enjoy a day of art making, music, dance, and ritual as the museum comes to life with the spirit and traditions of Day of the Dead.

On view in the Sheffer/Scheffler Arts Education Space in the Hoover Gallery:

"Just Add Color, Day of the Dead"

An exhibition of art quilts by the CV Quilter's Guild that was inspired by the coloring book “Just Add Color, Day of the Dead”. The installation will run from October 24th to November 27th, 2016. Enjoy seeing how the colors, the imagery, and the artist's personal creativity have brought these illustrations to life.
