7th Annual MEET THE MUSEUM PARTY
Friday, April 6th, 2012, 6-9 p.m.
The museum's annual Meet the Museum membership appreciation event will be on April 6 from 6-9 p.m. (the Friday of White Party Weekend). Now in its seventh year, Meet the Museum is an annual event that encourages members to renew their memberships or join the museum for the first time and receive an entry into the party, one of the museum's most fun events of the year. Meet the Museum is 100% underwritten and last year raised nearly $70,000 in member fees, with all proceeds benefitting museum operations, exhibitions and education programs. The event attendance will be capped at 1,000 and is expected to sell out again this year.
The evening will feature complimentary valet parking, entertainment by various DJ's, multiple open bar stations (Bar service by LULU; Wine by Tulip Hill Winery – Kristy Brown and Sara Hammond), edibles by LULU California Bistro, pop art photography and more!
This year, financial advisor and philanthropist Jim Casey and his partner Jason Altieri will be the new chairs of the annual Meet the Museum event. Casey's company, Integrated Wealth Management, has been the lead sponsor of Meet the Museum since 2006.

New or renewing memberships after Feb. 1, 2012:
$75 (includes one year individual membership and a single admission to event)
$135 (includes one year dual membership and admission for two to the event)
A new VIP ticket is available for this event which allows access through VIP entrance, access to a special VIP lounge that will feature a dedicated open bar and passed hors d'oeuvres. VIP pricing includes:
$100 per person (includes one-year Individual membership and one VIP entry ticket)
$200 (includes one-year dual membership and two entry tickets)
Current members who renewed their memberships prior to February 1, 2012 may purchase an entry ticket for $50. There will be no sales of tickets to non-members for this event – you MUST either join the museum or renew your membership to attend.

Following the meet the Museum event, the museum's Photography Collection Council (PCC) and the Architecture and Design Council (ADC) are co-hosting a post-event After Party at a private residence in the area. Starting at 9 p.m., the After Party is open to anyone who would like to join either council or renew their council membership. Existing council PCC or ADC members may attend by paying $25.
