Teen Docents give tours to elementary school children to help them learn how to look at and talk about art. The program is open to students enrolled in a Coachella Valley high school during the school year.

TeenStudio Projects is a series of monthly workshops in a variety of media created especially for teens ages 13-19. The program is presented by visiting artists and encourages personal connections to art by providing you with access to the museum, artwork and contemporary artists. Each class will focus on intensive skill-building and challenge you to think creatively while working with new practices and materials. In addition, TSP gives you a chance to meet other creative and like-minded teens.

 


Fine Arts Creativity Awards

Fine Arts Creativity Awards and Scholarship Program (FACAS)
The 23rd annual Fine Arts Creativity Awards and Scholarship Program exhibition will open on Friday, April 5, 2013. FACAS is a juried exhibition open to all public and private high schools in the Coachella Valley and College of the Desert. Each school is invited to submit artworks that address the exhibition theme: INSPIRATION(al).
