Teen Docent Program
Teen Docents give tours to elementary school children to help them learn how to look at and talk about art. The program is open to students enrolled in a Coachella Valley high school during the school year. |

TeenStudio Projects 2013 Registration per session TeenStudio Projects is a series of art classes of media created especially for teens ages 13-19. Visiting artists present fundamental approaches to art that encourage you to think creatively and develop your own style. You will learn a variety of techniques while working with new practices and materials, all in the comfort of the Palm Springs Art Museum’s galleries and art studios. In addition, TSP gives you a chance to meet other creative and like-minded teens. |

The Palm Springs Art Museum has two locations in the Coachella Valley: The flagship building is located in downtown Palm Springs and features compelling art exhibitions and a vast permanent collection, all on view in 150,000 square feet, architecturally significant building. The Palm Springs Art Museum in Palm Desert is an 8,400 square foot, Silver LEED-certified building named The Galen that presents changing exhibitions and collections. It is surrounded by the four-acre Faye Sarkowsky Sculpture Garden that features more than 10 significant sculpture works. Both museum locations are open to the public with free admission every Thursday evening from 4-8 p.m. and the Palm Springs facility offers free admission and programming the second Sunday of each month.
