Contemporary Art Council

The Contemporary Art Council has a busy 2009-2010 season, including our super star event, ARTrageous auction on February 1, 2010. We had a great 2008-2009 season and we look forward to this year with great anticipation. Below is a schedule of the activities planned for your entertainment, education and enlightenment. AND so the event we have all been anticipating for two years – ARTrageous Auction takes center stage on February 1.  The auction committee headed by our own talented, Carol Frankel, has been hard at work for two years.  You will not want to miss this evening of cocktails, dinner and museum-quality contemporary art that will be professionally auctioned at this unique event.  Test your bidding skills for an opportunity to own a John Buck, Salvador Dalí, Richard Diebenkorn, Pablo Picasso, Seth Randal or many other artworks. The ARTrageous color catalog will be mailed to those who attend the auction and dinner. 

CAC Tours

This season we have two art tours planned.

A tour to Chicago is planned for late May 2010 and then to Australia in October 2010. In the last few years the CAC has had amazing tours to Berlin & Prague, N. Italy, Paris and Argentina. We not only visit museums and art galleries, but also exclusive private collections. CAC art tours are an experience not to be missed so please join us for our incredible tours this year!
