The Contemporary Art Council supports the endeavors of the Palm Springs Art Museum, primarily in the areas of fundraising for acquisitions, exhibitions, and education. CAC encourages appreciation and promotes activities in contemporary art.

Join CAC at either the Individual/Dual level ($400) or CAC1000 level ($1000). Each membership is entitled to two participants at members-only events. In addition, each CAC1000 membership is entitled to one CAC sponsored exhibition catalogue and two complimentary meals. Twice each season, members will receive the latest CAC Newsletter, Cutting Edge.
Membership fees are partially and fully tax-deductible.

The Palm Springs Art Museum has two locations in the Coachella Valley: The flagship building is located in downtown Palm Springs and features compelling art exhibitions and a vast permanent collection, all on view in 150,000 square feet, architecturally significant building. The Palm Springs Art Museum in Palm Desert is an 8,400 square foot, Silver LEED-certified building named The Galen that presents changing exhibitions and collections. It is surrounded by the four-acre Faye Sarkowsky Sculpture Garden that features more than 10 significant sculpture works. Both museum locations are open to the public with free admission every Thursday evening from 4-8 p.m. and the Palm Springs facility offers free admission and programming the second Sunday of each month.
