BIENNIAL ART AUCTION AND EXHIBITION OF MUSEUM QUALITY WORKS

ARTrageous 2015 features silent and live auctions, cocktails and dinner on February 23, 2015, plus tons of fun! Proceeds go to the museum's acquisitions and exhibitions funds.

A four-week exhibition, January 24 - February 22, 2015 in the museum's galleries and installed by the museum's curatorial staff, will precede the dinner.

A full-color catalog that includes images and a description of every art work, a profile of each artist, and a list of donors will be published.

Well-known artists, galleries, museum patrons and collectors donate contemporary art: paintings, photography, prints, oils, watercolors, glass, ceramics and sculpture.

Most art works are valued between $2,000 and $10,000; some have sold for as much as $100,000.

Each ARTrageous Auction has raised in excess of $250,000.

Works by artists John Buck, Richard Diebenkorn, Robert Graham, Helen Pashgian, Alexis Smith, Donald Sultan, Robert Therrien, Michael C. McMillen, George Rickey, Sandro Chia, Darren Waterson and others will be featured.

Past auctioneers have come from Sotheby's and Christie's auction houses.
